In the middle of the 20th Century, Jorge García de la Peña Díez Madroñero founded a wine-growing business in oder to cultivate over 300 hectares of vineyards of his property. A lover of the country and its wines, he dedicated a great part of his life to the care of the quality of his land to produce a wine of singular characteristics. At present, his proyect is continued under the family Holding Group García de la Peña, which includes Bodegas García de la Peña for the elaboration of the wine, for the ageing, bottling and commercialization of the wines.
